Broadcasting data to contacts in Windows Live Messenger

I'm mashing up Windows Live Messenger with Googles Gears GeoLocation and Maps. The Windows Live Messenger Presence Extension can broadcast any kind of data. I've whipped it up with Geolocation and transmitted it to all my friends... All i had to do was coax them to signin on the same page and voila!

Here's one i made earlier...




For a demo and the source (its all in html+javascript) ...

1. go to: http://sandbox.knarly.com/winlive/presence.html
2. Signin
3. Contact one of your friends to go to the same page.
   
4. When both of you are signed into this page, you will each be plotted on each others map.
